About Arthur
I am a Gemologist by profession. I obtained my Graduate Gemologist (GG) at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in New York City. I hold an MBA degree from Cranfield University, London and a Bachelor degree in Mathematics. My earlier profession was a banker and a hotelier until I found jade, the Stone of Heaven, in Myanmar (Burma) in the mid-90s. Thence, my romance for stones began.
I read, write and travel extensively. I also have some spiritual pursuit, yoga and meditation. I have stayed in numerous countries before. Working, studying, doing something, doing nothing, seeking, learning, unlearning, observing, dreaming, as well as to partake some of the customs, traditions and the way of life of the people in the countries I passed through.
Now, I want to pursue my passion to write some stories of my life. So far, I have a sizeable fans that find some of my writings inspirational and educational. Or perhaps many find it mundane, the normal garden variety of living a life in this chaotic world of constant changes.
